What to Eat for Your Keto Diet Breakfast ?
Started a keto diet but don’t know how to plan your keto diet breakfast ? Check out these low-carb breakfasts.
Veggie Omelet
Eggs are a great choice and are recommended to be included in your keto diet breakfast. You can supplement fiber, vitamins, and minerals by eating an omelet that contains low-carb vegetables. Try onions, mushrooms, garlic, spinach, bell peppers and pumpkin.
Avocado
You can cut the avocado in half and eat it with a spoon, and it’s a simple and quick breakfast. Or mix it with almond milk and cocoa powder for a rich cream shake.
Crustless Quiche
Pour eggs, a protein of your choice (sausage, ham, bacon) and cheese into a plate and bake them into a hearty, low-carb breakfast for the first meal.
Sausage
Add some links to your breakfast plate to add protein instead of carbohydrates. Either beef or turkey will do, but make sure your beef is grass feed and not grain feed.
Greek Yogurt Parfait
Top your protein-rich plain yogurt with some ketogenic granola and a little fruit for breakfast. Don’t eat high-carb fruits, such as apples and bananas, and stick to low-carb options such as blackberries, raspberries, and starfruit.
Macadamia Nut Pancakes
That’s right, you can keep your short stacks while eating ketogenic. The key is to swap out wheat and white flour for ground macadamias or pecans. Add a few drops of vanilla essence to add a little sweetness.
Bacon and Eggs
This classic breakfast is one of the ketogenic recipes approved by traditionalists. Try changing the turkey bacon, or try the egg preparation.
Flaxseed Porridge
It couldn’t be better to have a bowl of hot porridge on a cool morning. Flaxseed is a ketone-approved oat substitute. Combine coconut milk, cinnamon, butter, grape seed oil and two tablespoons of frozen blueberries.
Cauliflower Cheddar Hash Browns
When making ketogenic potato cakes, cauliflower is a great potato substitute. Mix the cauliflower with garlic, onion, salt and pepper and add arrow leaf starch, avocado oil and shredded cheddar cheese. Cook with a waffle soldering iron or muffin baking dish.
Cobb Salad
Who said you have to eat breakfast food for breakfast? Mix your favorite leafy greens with hard-boiled eggs, turkey, ham or bacon, shredded cheese, avocados, vinegar and oil for a crunchy, filling-filled Cobb salad.
