Keto diet is easy to rebounds
Keto diet is easy to rebounds .Why? You might want to know. This may influence the decision you want to lose weight on keto diet
The ketogenic diet is a diet of high fat and very low carbon water, characterized by a very low intake of carbohydrates and an extremely high intake of fats, which allow the body to enter a ketogenic state.
With virtually no carbohydrate intake, fat becomes the main source of energy required by the body, which is metabolically catabolized to generate large numbers of ketone bodies, from which the ketogenic diet derives its name.
The most common ketogenic diets are 75% fat (daily is 20-30%), 20% (daily is 10-20%) protein and 5% carbon water (daily is 50-65%).
If you consume 1200 kcal of calories per day during weight loss (this is the caloric intake during the most common weight loss period), 5% of the calories are provided by carbon water, that is, only 60 kcal, 4 kcal per g of carbon water, that is, no more than 15 g of carbon water is consumed per day. Around 5 g per 100 ml of cow’s milk with carbon water, and a box of 250 ml of cow’s milk with carbon water around 12.5 g, so the ketogenic diet’s daily intake of carbon water is almost the same as that contained in a box of cow’s milk, but because almost all foods contain carbon water, green leafy vegetables have some carbon water.
So if you drink a box of milk, you can’t eat almost any vegetable a day, and not carbon water is overdosed. You drank a box of milk, the other foods were more restricted, and the yogurt was much less potable because most of the yogurt adds a lot of sugar and therefore has a higher amount of carbon water, about a dozen grams of carbon water per 100 ml. So that’s a diet that’s hard to achieve.
Carbon water is extremely low, fat is extremely high, and more than 70% of the calories are supplied by fat. Basically eating red meat, nuts, eating lots of foods that are high in oil, adding a lot of oil to your vegetables, not even a lot of fruits, or even vegetables with a little bit more starch. So, ketogenic diet in fact is difficult to execute and has many restriction conditions.
In addition, the ketogenic diet is relatively prone to rebound. From various sources it has been shown that after ketogenic weight loss, rebound is a large probability thing.
Why is keto diet is easy to rebounds ? Mainly because it is too extreme and too restrictive. This habit is difficult to maintain
What I want to say is that for most people, only life oriented things are easy to adhere to, and it is very difficult to limit too many eating styles for a long time.
Smart people can conduct short-term behavior in some extreme ways (provided that they do not harm the body or others), but they still have to return to the way of life to maintain long-term behavior, which is not easy to rebound.
